We All Have a Body

Peace and wellbeing are available to all of us but can feel so out of reach at times. When we are embodied, we feel amazing, but practices which help us come home to such bliss, like massage or dancing, can feel like a luxury -an indulgence we struggle to allow ourselves or prioritise. Such sacred time for ourselves is often at the bottom of the never-ending list of things to do.

Thai Yoga Body Work is said to be a physical application of what the Buddhists call Metta or Loving Kindness. The first experience of such mindful touch can be emotional and liberating wherever you are at in your wellness journey. As well as muscle, soft tissue and joints, your treatment intentionally works on deeper layers and the whole physiology of the body. This creates a profound experience.

For everyone – even completely inexperienced, stiff or inflexible people – a series of treatments is an opportunity to experience the incredible benefits completely passively, while being completely relaxed, cared for and safe. For body workers and practitioners, Thai Yoga Body Work is a wonderful compliment to an existing practice.

As well as a deeply nurturing, healing and blissful experience, Thai Yoga Body Work provides an opportunity to come home to what’s right within us already, to really stop for a few hours, to be with the beautiful, ‘soft animal’ of our body (as the poet, Mary Oliver puts it). For some, that can be difficult, but it is also emancipating. For many, it is a doorway through which we can return.

Your healing awaits you

A serene sculpture of a meditative figure with curly hair is placed beside an array of decorative items, including wooden elements and a pair of yellow candles. The scene is viewed through a glass window with the words 'wildchabathaimassage' displayed in pink lettering. The soft lighting and reflections add a tranquil atmosphere.

These sessions are teaching me to nurture and look after myself. It is a very nourishing experience.

Love the delicious snacks.
