Frequently asked questions

What should I wear?

You should wear comfortable, flexible clothing like leggings or jogging bottoms and thin socks. Please don't wear makeup as the last part of the treatment involves a face massage using special oils. You will also be asked to remove your jewellery.

If you don't have anything suitable to wear, you may borrow something at your appointment but getting changed may eat into your treatment time.

How much does it cost?

Please see the pricing and accessibility page for detailed information.

How do I get there?

Please see the Contact/Book page for detailed information.

Is there free parking?

There is free on-street parking available outside and around. Spaces can be limited during term time due to the university proximity but there are plenty of spaces in the surrounding streets. Please allow enough time to find a parking spot.

What should I expect?

Please see the What to expect page for detailed information.

Will there be music?

Sounds will be provided according to your preference, such as gentle music, sea sounds or other calming noise.

Is it okay to talk during the treatment?

Your therapist will ask you to feedback at certain points. Otherwise, you are encouraged to let everything go so that you can experience real stillness within.

Do you offer different kinds of treatments?

At the moment you can only schedule a full body treatment. However, each treatment is different and tailored for your specific needs.

Do I need to be flexible?
No. The work adapts to you.

Is this suitable if I train regularly?
Yes — many people use bodywork to support recovery and mobility.

Will it hurt?
The work is firm where helpful, gentle where needed, and always guided by communication.

Do you do home visits?

Yes. This can be discussed by email and will be costed by time.
